Heavy rains in the Boland

No need to mention that we've had some good rainfall during the past week.

On Saturday night the Krom River (on the southern edge of Onverwacht) flooded its banks and came very close to the houses near the river.

Unfortunately, it was dark and raining, so I didn't want to risk getting my camera wet. But I took a few photographs of the river this morning. You can view them here http://picasaweb.google.com/thulutess/Onverwacht.

If anyone keeps a pluviometer (raingauge), I would like to know how much rain we've had.
